In Her Head is an all dance production focused on a high schooler named Alice, and her ability to control her emotions. Through the show, Alice is confronted with each of her emotions through dance. In act 1, a narrator introduces Alice and each of her emotions. Alice then continues to interact with Happiness, Love, Fear, Anxiety, Depression, and Anger. At the end of the act, she is taken over by the negative emotions. Beginning act 2, Happiness, with the help of Love, pulls Alice up and lifts her mood. Happiness teaches Alice the moves to fight back against her negative emotions. Happiness gains Alice’s trust and shows her that Anger can be used to fight against Fear, Anxiety and Depression. Alice then realizes that she is in control of her emotions. She gains confidence, and fights back with Happiness, Love, Anger and Confidence by her side. She defeats the negative emotions and ends the show radiating confidence and happiness.
